In the ROSE Online game, players bash evil monsters in their quest to save the Seven Planets. In real life, let?s all take a break and have ourselves a totally different kind of bash!
The ROSE Bash is a live celebration for the launch of ROSE Online and will be held on October 29, 2005 at the Dolphin Park of Glorietta 4. ROSE Buddies can get together and see the real people behind them funky avatars they play with online. They?ll also meet new friends who share their love for the game.
You can join one of the contests and win thousands of pesos! There?s a Cosplay Contest, a Fan Art Contest, a Cheerdance Competition, and the main event, the War of the ROSES, where the players vote online for ROSE?s It-girl!
If you don?t feel like joining the contests, there?s still plenty to do at the ROSE Bash. Accesso-ROSE yourself with cool trinkets at the entrance before checking out the ROSE-inspired outfits in the special fashion show. Go around the many, many booths and participate in their crazy gimmicks. Play ROSE Online for free at the newly-opened Extreme Gaming Grounds in Glorietta 4 (from October 29-31, 2005). And party the night away with Metro Manila?s hottest acts!

General Cosplay Contest Guidelines:
? Register for the Cosplay Contest by 2:00pm on October 29, 2005 at the Dolphin Park of Glorietta 4. Anyone can take part in the contest regardless of gender or age. The character you will cosplay should be from Philippine ROSE Online only (duh!)
? Application forms are available at the Level Up! office or you may download the application form here. If you don't have the Acrobat pdf Reader, you can download it here
? The slots for cosplayers is limited to 50 and this is on a first-come, first-served basis. It would be a good idea to pre-register or register early to avoid being left out.
? If you plan to have props, you must conform to the following important guidelines:
All props must be declared when you register. Level Up! reserves the right to forbid the use of any props we deem dangerous or otherwise in violation of these guidelines.
Real weapons are strictly NOT allowed. If your character needs to have a weapon, you can bring a replica or make one out of cardboard or wood (points for craftsmanship!).
All props should be stored and carried with the utmost caution. Level Up! will bear no responsibility towards any injury as a result of a cosplayer's carelessness.
No flammable/explosive/radioactive substances are allowed! You can use props like fake blood or confetti but please make sure you won't make too much of a mess. This is also for the safety of the other cosplayers who will be going onstage after you.
? All cosplayers will be provided a microphone and 1 minute to deliver a spiel or perform a skit. No profanity or rude gestures will be tolerated onstage. This convention is for everyone so let's keep it clean. You don't need to be rude to be funny. Those who will violate this rule will be automatically disqualified and barred from entering any future Level Up! cosplay events.
? The judges' decision is final. No appeals will be entertained.
? Level Up! reserves the right to withdraw the rights of participation of any cosplayer should he/she violate any of these guidelines. Ignorance is not an excuse.
? Level Up! may videotape or photograph cosplayers at its discretion. Entry into this contest constitutes an agreement by the cosplayers to allow Level Up! to use their image and likeness in any of its promotions.
? Employees of Level Up! and their relatives up to the second degree of consanguinity are prohibited from joining this competition.
